I haven't had harsh bottom outs from hard landings off jumps/drops and or G-outs. This has been designed in-house by Santa Cruz using no off-the-shelf parts. The EXO+ casing is tough enough to ward off most nasty knocks (I had no issues with flat tyres while testing) and they manage to feel stable when running lower pressures. The Stumpjumper delivers, thanks to a ground-up suspension redesign and lightest-in-class frame weight. The Megatower now delivers 5mm more rear-wheel travel, at 165mm, and is designed around a 170mm fork rather than a 160mm fork. Frame sizes are now also stiffness-specific. controlled feel across longer travel ranges and easier setup. Look at the gauge on the pump and top it up if the reading has gone down. Here, the Megatower feels like it needs more effort to maintain that all important momentum. Like Specializeds Enduro Comp, the Megatower also uses a SRAM NX Eagle 112 drivetrain.
